Baked oatmeal is just a yummier version of good old oatmeal :D Oatmeal is made of groats (hulled oat grains), that have either been milled (ground), steel-cut, or rolled. Oats are a nutrient-rich food associated with lower blood cholesterol when consumed regularly. Oatmeal is mainly eaten as porridge, but may also be used in a variety of baked goods, such as baked oatmeal, oatcakes, oatmeal cookies and oat bread. Oats are also an ingredient in many cold cereals, in particular muesli and granola. Baked oatmeal is generally made from oats, something sweet (honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar,...), liquid (different milks, melted butter, yoghurt) and add-on of our choice like nuts, fruits, chocolate,...
